FAQs


How long will it take before I receive my order?

Each Bellazandra bracelet is custom made by hand - yours is one of a kind! Please allow 5-6 business days for production of your unique piece of jewelry (this does not include shipping time). Please allow for more time before holidays such as Mother’s Day and Christmas.


Mother's Day 2010 (Mother's Day is May 9, 2010)

Last day to place Mother's Day orders will be:
April 23 for delivery shipping with USPS Priority Mail.
April 29 is last day to order shipping with USPS Express Mail ($21) to ensure delivery before Mother's Day.

Christmas orders 2009:

Last day to place order is December 11 to guarantee delivery before Christmas Day (shipping with USPS Priority Mail).
Orders placed between December 12-15 will require USPS Express Mail ($21) to ensure delivery before December 25th.

Orders placed between December 16 - 25 will be processed on December 26th and shipped out after December 26th.

What if my bracelet is too small/big?

I will be happy to re-size your bracelet. The fee for re-sizing is $7 per strand (plus shipping) since I will have to re-string your bracelet. You can pay with check, Visa or Mastercard. Please send your bracelet back to me in a padded envelope or box to prevent damage in the mail. Thank you.



Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! All international orders ship via Air Mail ($14), it usually takes 6-10 business days depending on destination.

Australia - it is prohibited by Australian customs to send gold and silver jewelry into the country. Therefore, unfortunately we are not able to ship to Australia. Please see http://pe.usps.gov/text/Imm/immicl/immiclab_012.html for further information.



How do I care for my jewelry?

To keep your jewelry clean and shiny - remember to always put jewelry on dry and clean skin. Let lotions dry completely on skin before putting on your jewelry.
Always be careful not to submerge your jewelry in water. This will compromise the integrity of the beading wire, and in some cases cause the finish of the bead to become dull. Do not use any jewelry cleaners for your piece since they will remove the oxidized silver finish, such as on Bali beads, and letter beads.
To clean your piece I recommend using lukewarm water with a mild soap. Use a soft, small brush to gently clean your jewelry. Wipe with a soft towel or cloth, and lay to dry.

You can also use a treated polishing cloth made specifically for jewelry. Use with gentle strokes on the silver or gold-filled beads, and make sure to avoid the darkened oxidized areas. Avoid also cleaning Swarovski crystals with silver polishing cloth, it can make the crystals look less sparkly and shiny.

Store your jewelry in a dry and cool place, preferably airtight, when not wearing it - such as in a sealed bag or in a jewelry box.


Repair/Re-stringing

We are proud of our high quality designed jewelry. It is however important to understand that beaded jewelry is strung on a woven stainless steel wire. If it gets caught or continually tugged on it may loosen. We recommend, if you use your bracelet daily, to re-string it once a year. Especially bracelets with a toggle clasp tend to come undone more often than with a lobster clasp (when you 'wiggle' the pin to fit in the toggle it puts more stress on the wire over time).
It is important to take proper care of your piece to limit wear and tear. If your bracelet should come undone please send it to:

Send all the loose pieces in a padded envelope to prevent any damage in the mail. The re-string fee is $7.00 plus shipping. You can pay with check, Visa or Mastercard.



What is your return policy?

As with most stores that create customized items we do not accept returns. Each piece of jewelry is created especially to your specifications, it is one-of-a-kind and cannot be resold.



Is there a warranty?

Yes, we provide a 30-day warranty. This covers all flaws, defects, or damage. If your order is defective, and you need to return it, you may do so within the warranty period. Please mail your return to us in a padded envelope, or small box with insulating foam, along with a copy of the original receipt. We cannot repair any item that has been damaged in the mail.

Can I add a name to my existing bracelet?

Absolutely! Congratulations to your new addition to the family. You can certainly send your existing Mother's Bracelet back to us and either add a name to the single strand bracelet or add a second strand to the bracelet. Prices will vary depending on which style bracelet you have. For any questions please send an email to info@bellazandra.com
